Wake park in center of Riga. Season of 2017.

Idea origin.

In this blog we will tell about our wake park and its benefits, and, in general, a little bit about this sport.

Idea of wake park construction at us arose in 2014 when we successfully rode in other wake parks in Latvia and in Europe. As number of working hours and traffic of clients are limited to drive, it was necessary to wait for queue till several days. It was one of basic reasons of desire emergence to build wake-park in Riga.

Then still questions of place (reservoir) for construction and set of technical issues appeared: form and length of reservoir does not approach, place is not suitable, closest source of electricity is in 2 kilometers…, etc.

Having decided about place and having resolved all technical issues, there was a question of vendor of cable reverse system. The main question was about system service after its installation and desire to be engaged in difficult mounting in problematic conditions for installation.

Long selecting between Estonian, German, Russian and Latvian vendors, we stopped on local vendor. As all is nearby, it is possible to resolve all technical issues quickly.

Having selected local vendor, we were satisfied with quality and service.

Wake-park in center of Riga and its benefit.

Primary benefit of our wake park is its arrangement and geodetic conditions. Wake-park is located in center of Riga, at same time has free parking for cars; has long distance from city traffic and has an earth ditch (wall from earth of 6 meters height) around all water area. Earth ditch protects reservoir from winds - we have always smooth water without waves. Temperature of our reservoir is always couple degrees warmer, than everywhere as we have always calm.

Important benefit is also our inventory and constructions; we purchase inventory from the most advanced and fashionable vendors. All constructions and springboards are completely made of plastic, without bolts, self-tapping screws and stacks, it guarantees comfort and security.
